Day 01: Arrive Srinagar
On your arrival at Srinagar, you will be received by our local personnel and then accompanied to the hotel. Afternoon proceed for the sightseeing which includes visit to the Mughal Gardens. First visit the Garden of Pleasure – Nishat Bagh, then Shalimar Bagh which is considered the abode of Love and the Cheshmashahi. Ride across the world renowned Dal Lake in a Shikhara Boat. While you slide smoothly along the lake you will come across the floating vegetable gardens and also you have the opportunity to spot some rare birds. Overnight stay at Srinagar
Day 02: Srinagar (Day trip to Pahalgam) – 2 to 3 hours drive one way
Filled with giant lush conifers and more 20 shiny lakes, Pahalgam is better known as the “Valley of the Shepherds”. Post breakfast drive to Pahalgam. On the course visit the saffron fields, the ruins of Awantipur which dates back to 9th century and the Mattan Temple. Take a walk around the River Lidder which admires the alpine peaks surrounding it by mirroring its beauty. Later visit Chandan Wari, located 16kms from Pahalgam. It is the famous base camp for the Amarnath pilgrimage. Then visit Aru valley – a beautiful small village located among the grasslands and Behtaab Valley – a verdant meadow surrounded by hills covered with dense vegetation. Drive back to Srinagar. Have your breakfast and enjoy the ride to Gulmarg, which is known as the “Meadows of Flowers”. There are many activities at Sonmarg which will excite you and definitely touch your senses. You can go for Gondola Ride, horse riding, play golf at the highest golf course in the world and skiing which is possible only during the winter. Ride back to Srinagar. Overnight stay at Srinagar
Day 04: Srinagar (Day trip to Sonmarg)
Today is scheduled for the day trip to Sonmarg, Which literally means “path of gold”. An enchanting hill station set amidst the valley of flowers and lakes, earned itself the name “Meadows of Gold”. It lies in the Sindh Valley, surrounded by snow clad mountains. Immerse yourself in nature, watching the peaks kissing the clouds. You can even hire ponies and hop on them for a trip to enjoy Sonmarg.
Drive back to Srinagar for the overnight stay.
Today, you will be transferred to the airport from where you will fly back home with fond memories of Kashmir.
