    Day 1: Arrival at Cochin

    The God’s Own Country, Kerala welcomes you!!! Following your arrival at Cochin, a Cholan Tours Executive will be waiting to receive you and will accompany you to your hotel where you can refresh and relax. Overnight, stay in Cochin.

    Day 2: Cochin – Munnar

    Today morning after having your breakfast, you will be driven to Munnar, better known as the “Queen of hills”. En-route to Munnar, you will come across the beautiful Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls. After reaching Munnar, enjoy a speed boat ride at Mattupetty Dam and pay a visit to the Blossom Park. Overnight, stay in Munnar.

    Day 3: Munnar

    Today morning, start off your day with a healthy breakfast and head on to Rajamala (Eravikulam) National Park where you can spot an endemic species named Nilgiri Tahr, a rare species of mountain goats. Continue your sightseeing tour by visiting the Echo Point where the “Neelakurinji” (a rare purple flower) blooms once in every 12 years, and then you will reach the Top Station which offers some mind blowing sceneries of the lined up Munnar hills. End your day by making a visit to one of the tea museums where you can witness and learn the cultivation and processing of tea leaves. You can taste sample tea of different varieties and even take home some Munnar Tea. The spot demands some awesome snapshots which you can use to recall your memories of Munnar.     Day 4: Munnar – Periyar

    After breakfast, get ready to go deep into the wilderness of Periyar Forest Reserve. Periyar (Thekkady) Wildlife Sanctuary is one of India’s biggest wildlife sanctuaries covering 777sq-km of thick woods. It shelters many species of flora and fauna. It is probably the best trekking spot in Kerala. It entertains adventure lovers and wildlife enthusiasts as well with Tiger Trail, Night trekking and many more. There are a lot of spice plantations where you can make a visit and learn how these spices are cultivated, harvested and packed ready to be exported to different parts of the world. Also enjoy the most sought after activity in Periyar, Bamboo Rafting along the Periyar Lake surrounded by dense forests and its wild residents. Overnight, stay in Periyar.

    Day 5: Periyar – Alleppey

    Today, you have every reason to be excited, as you will be driven to the most unique backwaters in the world, the Alleppey Backwaters. Once you reach this spectacular backwater destination, board in a houseboat which is specially designed with all the modern amenities for a calm and relaxing backwater experience. A crew will accompany you while you cruise through the rippling waters of Vembanad Lake. They will magnify your experience by narrating certain highlights of the Alleppey Backwaters. Most of all you get to eat hot and fresh Kerala cuisines inside the houseboat prepared by the houseboat crew inside the houseboat then and there. The Alleppey backwater experience never leaves any visitors unsatisfied. Overnight, stay in the Houseboat.

    Day 6: Alleppey – Cochin – Departure at Cochin

    Morning after breakfast in the houseboat, a one hour drive will take you to Cochin. Cochin is a delight for those who like extensive shopping. There are various world class shopping malls like Lulu Hypermarket, Oberon Mall, Cochin Central, Nucleus Mall, Gold Souk and also many antique shops, book stores, street food joints and many more. Next up, you will be directed to Fort Cochin, where you will visit historical monuments like the Jewish Synagogue, the Dutch Palace and the St. Francis Church. You may spend some time walking along the Jew town and if you wish you can buy some spices, antiques etc. You can see the Chinese Fishing Nets which is one of the central attractions of Cochin and also have some fresh catch seafood on the spot. Watch stage shows of Kerala traditional martial arts Kalaripayattu and the classical Kerala art form Kathakali. You will be transferred to the Airport for a safe flight home.
